im here in the philippines,, my bro bought this samsung s3 i747 in alaska and he gaved it to me..my problem is on "how to unlock" the sim card???? coz it says here
sim network invalid... plss help me to unlock the sim so that i can use my s3 now... thank guys....

my bro brought a samsung s3 sghi747 from dallas. he gave it to me. Im in india. but the set is not working properly in inda. I can call by this cell.but it shows insert sim. i upgade it to 4.3 still it is not working. what to do? can anybody help me?

After you click this you see " Now RAT Free Supporting". Click back button and try setting radio by pressing *#2263#.

I absolutly love this phone. Only kept it stock for 3 days then I rooted it. Currently running android 4.4.2, yes thats right Kit Kat. Total upgrade and a big change for the better. email me for info for any galaxy s III. Quick tips to increase speed Go to setting, Developer, options and turn it on, then scroll down to Window Animation scale change setting to the lowest number besides off, some will go down to .5 and others to .25, do the same for the next 2 sections Transition Animation Scale and Animator Duration Scale. If you dont see an instant boost just change them back to the 1.0X. Rooting the phone truly gives you endless possibilites. Right now mine is a lot faster than the galaxy s IV.

pls i really need help ,, i just updated my galaxys3-1747 to
4.3 version and since then i cant check my account balance
or recharge my account or load my internet bundles . (2) my
galary goes off whenever i tried to send picture by bluetooth
or whatsapp. pls pls someone should help me,, I went to my
service provider and was told d fault isnt from them. pls
what can i do. I even did factory reset ,, but still same.

So i updated to 4.3 yesterday. The battery is practicly the
same,it has the looks of s4 indeed but i have 2 problems: it
shows in battery management that i'm on wifi all the time
even if i don't have wifi on and i get the eye all the time if i
activate the feature where if you look at the phone the
screen stays on. And that happened after i reseted the
phone.

Ashok, 31 Dec 20131) With phone on, take off back cover and press your SIM ca... moreI tried this with my I747 on the Digicel network in Jamaica. After switching to "WCDMA All" the phone would only allow emergency calls. Had to switch back to "WCDMA Automatic". Any idea why?

Hi,
I just got a S3 I747. I've 2 questions:
1. It's running in 4.1.1. Can I upgrade it to 4.1.2 ?
2. It has no option for VIDEO CALLING through Network Service Provider. How can I active this Network Video Calling option?
Some one please help. I live in Bangladesh & using GrameenPhone 3G network.

I received a samsung galaxy s3 i747 from a relative in canada buh upon inserting my micro sim I realized the fone had to be unlocked before I wud b able to use it. I have been able to unlock it buh to my surprise I cant enjoy browsing with d fone bcs d network mode is always stuck on d EDGE. I have contacted my service providers n every network person I knw yet still even solutions from this site and still am not able to access d HSPA. And we all knw this fone without 4G internet link is useless. Please help me anyone???

AnonD-173676, 08 Aug 2013i have this phone from USA but i didn't have 4g network in ... more1) With phone on, take off back cover and press your SIM card so it releases from the spring. It won't come all the way out as it's blocked by the battery. This seems fine - I didn't bother trying to force it out as I didn't want to break anything...
2) Once you see the message that the SIM card is removed, go to the dialer and dial *#2263#
3) You should see a menu with band selections. The current setting is "Automatic". If you switch to "GSM All", you will be EDGE (2G). If you switch to "WCDMA All", you will be on HSPA+ (3G, though AT&T and others call it 4G).
4) Press the SIM card back into place until it clicks. For whatever reason the phone will not recognize it until you reboot. Upon reboot you should see your new setting in effect.

that phone can be update i menage to do so on my i747 in israel and only to 4.1.2 not furter
