Anonymous, 22 Mar 2013is there any chance getting update of 4.1.2?????This phone will get the Android 4.1.2 and also sounds like it may get the new Android 5.x sometime this year after the Google I/O Developer Conference in May.

kumar, 23 Mar 2013why this phone cannot be used in Canada with Mobilicity, wh... moreThe only reason this phone will not work with Mobilicity is because they only support 1700Mhz of the 3G band. If you want a 4G phone, may I suggest going with another Company...

you can use S3 i747 in India.. it works very well and you can upgrade it to 4.1.1 as well.

JD, 16 Mar 2013Will the LTE work in the philippines my carrier is globe te... moreThis is a US only phone (i747 for AT&T, not the international) and it works only on bands 7 and 14 or frequencies (MHz) 700, 1700, and 2100. I believe our homeland's LTE bands are incompatible. You might as well buy an LTE device from a PH carrier. Chances are there will be compatibility issues with LTE frequencies if you buy a locked LTE phone from another country (because majority of LTE enabled phones are carrier lock anyway).

I have a problem and i would be very ha... moreThe main difference between this and the I9300 is that this version has LTE, at the cost of a dual core processor instead of a quad core like the I9300 does. To make up for the processing power, it has double the RAM, at 2 GB. I9305 has 4G AND the quad-core processor, and the t999 is the same as the i747, but without 4G.

Samsung Galaxy S3 Different Models/Versions?
What is the difference between the Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-i9300 and SGH-i747 and SGH-T999? Is the Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-i9300 the original name for the phone? I've been looking over the web and i have noticed that there is 2 more models, the SGH-i747 and SGH-T999. Is it because that they offer different models in other countries? I also heard that the SGH-i747 is better than the SGH-T999 because the SGH-i747 is being sold by top carriers and that it has 4G LTE, while the other one (SGH-T999) is being sold by lower known carriers and it has no 4G LTE. I am going to get the Samsung Galaxy S3 with Bell but i want to know what model i will be getting, also i live in Canada Also one more thing is there any other more models besides the GT-i9300 and SGH-i747 and SGH-T999?

You will get the i747 from Bell.
The i747 is a 4G LTE device.
The i9300 is the international version the other two are North American versions.
The i9300 has 1GB of RAM the other two have 2GB.
The i9300 has a 1.4GHz processor, the other two have a 1.5GHz processor.
The i9300 is the only model to offer 64GB of device memory. The other two will have 16BM or 32GB.
