I have this device and i unlocked it from a website
then i left AT&T and go to T-mobile
Can I update my device normaly from the software update?
because it is written (AT&t Software Update)
i afraid that will locked my phone

1.Root your phone
2.Get APN Backup and Restore from the Googla Play.
3.Convert the APN app to the system application using Rom toolbox or any other of such type programs.
4. Go into the APN app settings and disable the ICS check.
Now you can delete or any locked APNS and than add your own...

I buy this phone on amazon unlock but it had freez on me.
I did a reset and now i have no APN for GT&T or any other network than at&t.
And i can't edit the apn in ICS 4.0.4 OR JB.

I finally switched from an iPhone after being an Apple guy ever since the first iPhone came out. I'm so mad I didn't switch earlier. This phone is 10 times better than the iPhone. It takes a little getting used to, but all the customization is incredible. Anyone thinking about switching, just do it. You'll be happy. Bonus! No more being limited by iTunes!!!

The benefit is that you can try firmwares from other regions or be the first one to be updated.
