Samsung Galaxy S scheduled in June, will serve Froyo later

The Super AMOLED packing Samsung I9000 Galaxy S will hit Europe and Asia right next month. Meanwhile Samsung confirmed Android 2.2 Froyo will land on the Galaxy S later this year.

Samsung I9000 Galaxy S is already available for pre-order on the German Amazon for 649 euro. The Asian price for the unlocked device will be the same. Galaxy S will hit Europe and Asia in June.

The big question has been answered - I9000 Galaxy S will be updated with Android 2.2 Froyo sometime later this year.

Here's hoping that the phone will be available soon here in the middle east. No news as of yet on availability here in the uae... I r a sad panda...
