Samsung Galaxy S to get updated in Germany and Italy this March
A tweet from a source close to Samsung Germany says that the Samsung I9000 Galaxy S will soon get a Gingerbread update. Samsung Italy on the other hand says they will be pushing Android 2.2.1 instead. Sounds interesting...
Here's the tweet itself:
It's peculiar that the update is planned to come in March and only in Germany. However, we suppose it's going to hit all Galaxy S devices sooner or later. We don't know how reliable this source is, so don't forget the pinch of salt on this one.
What makes us doubtful is that in the time Samsung Italy officially stepped up and promised an Android 2.2.1 Froyo instead. The other update newx from them is that Samsung Wave S8500 users can expect Bada 1.2 update to hit their phones as well. Expect the updates to hit your Kies application around 10 March.
