Very nice handset...i buy it a few days before..i'm using it since last 3 weeks..In my choise it is the best phn in such a low price..so guys who have confuse still now,just go and get it soon...hurry...

I bought this phone last Month and I can't download any application from Google play. when I try to download, it shows me an error code. please assist me how I can solve that problem.

Asha 501 has good built quality and good battery back up, but it's user interface is very bad, you can not customize the asha 501 more than just changing the ringtone and wallpaper. Also, the 501 IS NOT A SMARTPHONE. It is just a dumb touchscreen phone for novice and clumsy people. Galaxy will provide you better interface, better customization, full internet experience and a good gaming experience.

I'm still confused whether i should go for this phn or Nokia Asha 501. Although i'm not a Samsung fan, i've been caught up with the OS (Android v.4.1 JB). Still can't make a choice. Need urgent advise.

Hai, 09 Jul 2013Thanks Qsmateen and Dev1850. But, if i have downloaded app2... moreAndroid ICS and JB normally don't support moving apps to memory card. That's why these devices normally come with large internal memory. I guess you can store many apps within the phone because it has a large internal memory. But if you really need to move the apps to memory card then you have to root the device. Just research on the internet to get the step by step process, but remember, rooting is a very RISKY process... If you really need it, consult a local expert.

Well I think its an excellent phone!
Features the same specs as found in Sony Tipo for 8k, samsung has offered it for just 5 k..
Camera diff doesnt matter for such phones anyway..
Should be ok for speed, handy and pocket friendly..
