Battery will last about one day if you browse internet, play games very often. But for normal day to day use and casual browsing, the battery will back it up for about 5 days (while the automatic mobile data usage is deactivated).

I am.using tis set 6 days.
all apps working plz dont download playstore. use mobile9.com site.
and very important go to setting>application> and tick unknown source.
and play all apss like
temple run2,angry bird,subway surfer, viber,whatapps,skype,we chat, etc
all working 100%.

Those who are crying for its single core processor, 512 mb ram, 2g connectivity, low pixel density, small screen etc, I want to clear one thing to all of you. The main problem is that some people look for all the high end features at a low price. If you need a 3g phone with 4 inch screen having high pixel density, pay more than 10k INR and you'll get a good device. In the range of a 5k price range, this phone is absolutely fine. The high end features are absent because samsung had to keep their build quality standards. If you get all of those high end features in a low priced phone it would not be a samsung. It must be a crap like micromax, videocon, spice etc or some chinese brands. For this device, you get what you pay.

Those who are concerned about the gaming performance of the device, just go to youtube and search for "samsung galaxy star gaming review". Watch the videos to get a straight forward idea of gaming.
But as long as my experience, considering the display quality and battery capacity, I think you should not attempt to run heavy games on it. For casual gaming, this phone is more than enough. Good luck guys.
