download play_store.apk to computer than send the file to your tab, open file manager to install (or read the instruction in that site)

Or simply download any apps from that site.

AnonD-14017, 13 Apr 2013I think the fonts were working ok sometime back,all of a su... moreHmmm.... couldn't be pansi, I also have pansi app installed and my chrome is ok. Have you tried to restart the device, or resetting the browser (clear data and clear cache from app manager). What version of your preloaded chrome btw, mine is chrome 18.0.10xxxxxx beta.

Safari is not available for android as far as I know, was just telling that this browser also messed up when doing copy paste task. Dolphin and fire fox are supposed to be able to run flash contents, as being said, but even my ice cream tablet still unable to play gsm arena 360 view which can be run properly in my xperia mini with dolphin mini :/

Is there no fix for using flash in any browser?can we have safari browser on our tab?

AnonD-14017, 13 Apr 2013Am amazed at the knowledge u have Gris :) my kernel deta... moreAbout shrinking fonts, did you encounter this prob eveytime you tried typing on any webpages or it is just in particular? This might happen when chrome doesn't have text encoding of font used by the webpage you open in its list. On desktop version of chrome we have option to download new encoding text, unfortunately not in mobile version.

Chrome for Android does not support Flash in any shape or form. There’s no plug in available either which allows Chrome to render a site in Flash.

Copy and paste problems also been reported by others either on chrome, fire fox, dolphin or safari. Dunno how to solve this, maybe you should paste it first to messaging editor,from there copy and paste to other page.

I bought this tab from China, after that I know the tab is not coming with
Per installed "play store". Really disappointed with this.
Also due to Chinese govt restriction you can not install it and use that.
There is no meaning of buying the tab. Pl give me solution, how can I use the tab in India with play store and all androide apps?

Hi All, Need some help here! I'm planning to pick this tab one of these days. I would be using it for making calls and sending emails mostly and probably remaining will be used for browsing the net.

I would like to know whats the battery back up on the TAB for 2G calls and for browsing the web on 3G? I am a very heavy user about an average of 100 calls daily and lots of emailing and 40% of browsing the internet. How long do you thing the battery would last keeping in mind this.

If some of you use it constantly for calls please share the details with me as well. Thanks much in advance for your replies and answers!

And what's written under Baseband version, is it: P3100DDCLK1 or P3100DDCLL1? The first one? Coz I've been thinking since you said the date is 3 or early month of dec, the kernel maybe has been ported in november.

Assume that your baseband version is:
P3100DDCLK1
which means:
- It is tab2 7.0 3G+Wifi (P3100)
- released for South Asia region (DD or DDC)
- Kernel built year 2012 (L is the 12th letter in alphabet)
- Kernel built month is November (indicated by letter K - the 11th letter)

What the purpose of this:
1. To check device originality, as this is Samsung's own method to recognize their devices when connect to KIES.
2. When buying you should be able to know when the shop tries to sell their old stock

I just spoke to the shop guy from wh... moreIf you’re allowed to try it before buying, then look for the gear icon in app drawer to open Settings menu, scroll down and choose About device. See Android version (4.0.4 = ICS, 4.1.1 or 4.1.2 = JB). And also look at the Kernel version to see the firmware date written like this (example): Thu Nov 25 12:32 :29 KST 2012 to know if the shop offering you the latest batch device or not.

As I’m still on ICS, I couldn’t tell you whether it slows down performance or not.

AnonD-14017, 11 Apr 2013Thanks for the link...hey Gris which browser r u using?whic... moreMy favorit browser is still Opera mini, although it lacks many capabilities offered by other browser apps but for me it’s good enough for daily use to search news and infos, dowloading files and multi media contents (pics, mp3s, vids) or android’s apk files. With compression files feature it is also good when you have slow internet connection as it could reduce data traffic 70-95% depends on browser settings.

Alternative browsers of course the popular browsers for android for advanced browsing experience – chrome, dolphin or opera mobile, unfortunately as you guys with JB having difficulties to see flash contents, I occur the same problem with ICS. For example I’m still unable to open 3d spin phone image on gsm arena 360 view section page that works fine in my ginger bread phone, he he.

Is it a safe buy? Samsung recently slashed its prices and now it fits my budget. My only worry is that it does not have a quadcore processor. Android 5.0 is rumoured to have a basic requirement of a quadcore processor. However Samsung also just launched the Mega series phones with dual core processors. So will those phones also not get a 5.0 upgrade?

I just spoke to the shop guy from where I'm planning to buy this tablet, and he told me that this tab is not coming with jelly bean preinstalled, but he can do it, and it will take few minutes but overall it will slow down a bit after upgrade. Can you suggest how to figure out if jelly bean is preinstalled, and does the upgrade slows down the tab?

Hello.. just got JB 4.1.2 update, Have a question: for older version the samsung slide keys was working great, after the update it is not working properly, Is anybody facing the same issue? Need a solution on this. Thanks in advance.
