Maybe it asked to select English(India) also in the other sub menus - in Language (on top), Samsung keyboard and in Voice search? Let see if this work.
Yes, the internal storage has partitions. In general it has two main sections: 1. system partition, where the operating system and preloaded apps are stored. This partitioned is normally locked and can only be changed through firmware update and
2. internal storage partition as the user accessible storage, this can be compared to the C:\ drive on symbian os or on PC's windows os, where downloaded apps are stored, sharing the space with other files. The directory of this section for internal storage is /mnt/sdcard. For external memory or micro SD card it provides this directory: /mnt/extSdCard.
As I previously mentioned that downloaded apps are stored in internal storage or mnt/sdcard, unfortunately there is no option to move them to external storage (mnt/extSdCard). Hence to optimize apps space you should store all files and multimedia files in the memory card. Camera results and Bluetooth transferring files by default will be stored in the internal memory, but by using file manager app they can be moved easily to memory card. :)

AnonD-3744, 23 Mar 2013I want to correct a little on my last post: it is voice rec... moreHey Gris,i followed ur steps but got stuck at last...as i chose english(india) in languages and then back to download,i found two options INSTALLED and ALL...i dont know what to do after this bcoz just one language which it shows installed is english(US) is of 22MB so am lil confused abt what to do next,will it install all the languages if i click on ALL or just the one that i chose,i.e english(india) ?plz help.
And one more thing,are there any partition in tab memory like i have C,E,F memory in my symbian fone?and which memory shud be chosen to install apps,media files etc.

hello my friends
i bought this tablet two weeks ago and the battery life is so bad :
with screen half brightness and browsing internet WIFI Constantly the battery last just 5 hours and 30 minutes ( screen on ) !!!!
that really frustrating !!!
and it take around 4 hours to charge fully !
please tell me is that normal ? because the tablet is new and i think that broken battery !

1 to 1.5 hr is Enough to get full charge

indy, 24 Mar 2013Hi all please help me on this, my galaxy tab 2 p3100 is ... morebad apps can cause that problem. uninstall some last apps that you install if that doesn't works and still have problem then backup your data, factory reset your tab. start fresh :)

its battery back up is good just like other android devices from samsung upto 24 hours

I regret after buying Samsung tab 2, the prices dropped by 8% within 5 days of my purchase, takes hours to charge and the battery gets over within 14 hours of average use. I didn't get the satisfaction I expected.
