Jelly Beans update increases the working speed....
but lots more disappointment like...
1. notification bar shifted above, it made little bit hard to access.
2. no battery status on home screen.
3. music app can't be stopped easily, have to kill it feom task manager.
4. mini sms app is crashing all the time. hope a new update may fix it.
5. no shotrcut for screenshot, camera etc....
plz let me know if TAB 2 ICS roam is available to install, I would love to have ICS back on my TAB 2.

the tab 2 3100 supports laptop/pc charging when connected through usb cable; while the battery notification shows a red cross sign when connected through usb to laptop the tab actually charged; anybody can check this by keeping the tab connected to laptop/usb for a longer time and see the difference in battery charged status.

updated to jelly bean 4.1.1 through kies; but now there is no instant method to find the battery position as was in 4.0.4 where it was displayed directly in the pop up menu; how to close music player fully in jelly bean 4.1.1 as even after stopping the music player the application remains there in the notification dropdown menu;in ics 4.0.4 there was a cross button to close the app fully;how to do it in 4.1.1 jelly bean?

anisx, 15 Dec 2012i am not able to connect my tab2 to kies. it is showing to ... moreplease go to settings and in put the tab in debugging mode and check mock location setting and then try again; hope it should work.

After updating my tab on Jelly bean platform... My battery life dies in 1 day.. Is anybody facing the same problem... Is there any solution to this problem.. Thanks

finally got jelly bean update here at guwahati, india for my tab 2 gt-p3100
improved ui and block mode in settings....thank u samsung

Just now upgraded to Jelly Bean through KIES from INDIA. Took me an hour for the complete process. Now I can see the performance has certainly increased. No lags while opening and closing the apps like before. UI got user friendly and lot smoother than before. Check your benchmarks after up-gradation and see the difference, their is considerable improvement in all categories of scores. Enjoy the JELLY BEAN... Thank you SAMSUNG :)

We can use a mouse (even Wireless),Keyboard,Pendrive,Usb Hardisk.You can shop at ebay for the cables for these.

We cant use a usb dongle for this tab.better you go with the sim option.

The Update is all about user interface change,and a lot about 80 tweaks in the OS.
