Except u upgrade your OS to v.4.1 (jelly bean), OS jelly bean wont be equipped with flash player,instead they will optimize HTML5 for richer web experience.

some Q's.... pls help ......
1) With Tab 310, Can i have data connectivity with the a 2G SIM card (EDGE network)? 3G is still not available everywhere in India:)
2) Standard USB port non availability - is it a big pain?
3) w/o Gorrila/Amolded display, does the screen fully gets filled with finger prints over some usage
4) Though it is the best VFM as of now, is it advisable to go ahead and buy or is it better to wait for a better spec...if samsung has plans like Tab 680 with ICS shortly in the market?

A great back of this tab is that it does not support Adobe Flash out of the box as after 15th August it wil not be available at the play store.

Any of you running on ICS 4.0.4 ? I am having WiFi issues after 4.0.4 update. I have to restart WiFi couple of times if the connection doesn't complete in time.

k, 03 Jul 2012which firmware are you using? (kang) how is your experience... moreI am using AOKP build #40. The experience is great. This gives you the oportunity to overclock you processor to 1300 GHz with a smartass governor so it actually moves much better than Gingerbread.
The battery is also good...
Only thing that isn't working is the torch(flashlight). You can only use that for pictures or videos. Not important actually...I don't use the tablet as a flashlight! :-p

I hav bought this wonderful device and is glued to its features that too in the wonderful price range it comes in, Working on ICS along with good processor makes experience wonderful... A best buy in this price range.. :) :)

It's BS! The P1000 is better than this one! The only plus is the dual core processor...
No flash on the camera, the second camera is vga, no gorilla glass!!! It's cheap because they use cheap materiala on it!
PS: I have a P1000 and I am running Android ICS 4.0.4 with no problems as we speak! This sucker comes with 4.0.3!

bern, 02 Jul 2012why is it so cheap compare to samsung galaxy tab 7.0 and to... morebecause the tab 7.0 plus uses exynos chipset (which is better than this TI OMAP chipset),the front camera is 2 mp front camera (this tab 2 only has vga front camera),the rear camera has a flash on it (this tab 2 doesn't have it).

Needs HSDPA 850 then I would take it for Australia. However suggest better to spend the extra money on a 7.7 which has a better upgrade path.
