some tips to make using your tab 3 more easy and smooth :-
1- always low the brightness of the screen to save battery
2- to solve the freezing issues you have to keep your device clean by following this > open settings > application manager > all , now for those apps u never use u can clean the data of it and turn it off . for those apps u dont always u can force stop it and clean , be carefull for what u are closing and turning off u can damage ur system if u sleceted wrong apps that keeps ur android system alive :D .
3- long press on home menu u will find close all and task manager , always close all apps u dont use at the time , u can also open the task manager and search for RAM Manager and always clean ram.
4- apps like facebook,whatsapp.viber and facebook messenger it needs to opened always but it do drain ur battery and flood in ur ram which make ur device hangs and freezes try to control them by froce stop it if u dont need it.
5- there are some usefull apps to control ur device and keep it clean like cleaner and DU booster , in my opinion DU is much better thats why i use it and it works fine .
thats how i keep my tab3 under control and never hangs , never freez , hope its helpful for u all , my best wishes

afzal, 27 Apr 2014You can connect through wifi or else using ur mobile as wif... moreusing wifi or there is another hard way but it works.. using a usb modem but its needs first to root the device to be able to use the amazing app (ppp widget) to connect your usb modem .

This tablet uses the Intel Atom Z2560 which means it's closer related to your desktop than to other tablets.
It's a whole other ballgame when it comes app compatibility.
There is an SD port, which becomes useless after the KitKat upgrade unless you're rooted and apply the fix.
There's still no working AOSP type ROM, so the best you can get is modified debloated touchwiz.
I have it stationed next to my Nexus 10, which screams circles around it.
I put my Assistant program on there and let her chatter away sometimes.

Upgraded to Kitkat? yes for sometime FB apps is crashing everytime you open it. But now it's working well again, i think they have fixed the probelem already.

It's an ok tablet but overpriced with technology that was top end three years ago. Low pixel density (about 150 ppi)
Again, in 2011 good specs but today? Battery life is mediocre at best,10-15 minutes online (just searching or reading email, no youtube use) drains close to 10% of the battery. Video quality is ok though I notice any video b/w
has a green tinge which you don't see in better quality tablets. I see Samsung has launched the tab 4 and galaxy s series but with the same lousy 1280x800 resolution. Everyone else has moved on from this resolution but they upgrade to kit kat and keep the same 4 year old specs. To me it shows a lack of ingenuity on their part. Especially since the charge $300+. For a 10.1 inch tablet get the Nexus 10 not a new tablet but double ppi better video display and only for a few dollars more.
