So far so good. I bought it 21/09/13. I don't like that almost eeverything need the internet but i like the phone calling. Lighter,cute, like the syncing, superfast internet access using Vodacom LTE(i think),Love it tho. something about it i can't explain but it's good. It's like having the samsung phone but in a tablet.

Guys dont compare to other galaxy tab coz this one gt LTE, if u know how fast is LTE then i guess there is nt much rrom to complain, cheers

First of all tablet has X86 based intel processor, which makes this tablet UNIQUE and of coourse faster than its competitor.
But it is also a disadvantage about battery life, I'm not sure how long will run 6800 mAH battery, about 4-5 hour I think.
Second thing is GPU, SGS Tab 3 10 has powerVR SGX544MP2
it is more powerfull gpu.
Third thing is new one is lighter, smaller, shorter and thinner than its predecessor.
Of course there are much missing features like no-gorilla glass, no PLS screen, weak battery against new stronger soc.
So...
They are not same or similar tablets, very different models.
