Overall not to bad, and compared to same prized Chinese tablets, its way better.
he thing that stands out the most is the browsing experience, you don't even notice your using a entry level tab, the keyboard works nice, and the screen looks good.
vs nexus 7 gen1: the nexus is a bit smother on the UI, but overall a better design and more compact. does not feel like a 7inch tab, more like an over size phone.
The bad stuff is:
Camera. they could have just left it out, it is really bad, and I hope the the next round Samsung will bring in an 5 of even 8pm with flash.
as a budget tab you don't expect super fast speeds, but then again, the nexus 7 has n quad-core, why is the still running dual core.
why does it have 4.1.2 and the tab 7.0 2 is getting 4.2.2/ ???
Overall its not to bad and I would defiantly recommend it as it has a speaker grill and its the better option for that price range.

hangs a lot, slow, does not support OTG,screen looks dull ( colors are pale). It is a budget tab I agree, maybe it will work better than a cheap Chinese no brand tab, but do not expect it will work like a s3. The comment comes based on what u ve been using b4, I have s3 and s3 mini and ipad 3, so this is definitely a downgrade. smart features are missing,

If u feel ur tab is slow or lagging during playing games.pls remove the tik mark from cpu uselimit in power saving mood. On developer option, makesure that ur amimation scale is on.5. I m using this tab for one month and I m happy with it.u can play all kinds of games.such as asphalt 8,7. Nfs most wanted. Gta vice city. Mortal combat, nova. All the games play smoothly on it. The audio and vedio quality of movie is awesome. The camera quality is not that level. But no one use tablets for camera option.i m enjoying the tab. Sorry for my bad english.

Samsung recently updated Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 performance
antutu benchmark show 14800. i have galaxy s3 phone
benchmark show 19500
and web browsing experience is very close. i'm sure tab3 7.0 will be updated soon

after looking at the reviews of this tab... i m thinking of buying micromax canvas tab.. even the specifications are better...

My galaxy s3 got stolen the other day, now im back on my moms blackberry :/ ...so do i take out another contract but on a galaxy mini, of do i get a tablet? in a years time i can upgrade and get another phone anyway. so 2 phones or a tablet and a phone?
