I wanted to buy a tablet so on a transit at mumbai airport bought this tab 3.80. The phone and tablet is great size and very light, you can easily keep it by one palm alone . Yet the display resolution better than ipad mini yet not very good. Display really is major laggard, samsung should have given atleast nexus 7 display type. Moreover i bought from croma zip at airport, they charged me extra 2000 god knows why, one should not buy from croma at mumbai airport. I paid 25300 Rs .

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 wins the prize as the tab with the biggest screen that can still fit in my suit jacket pocket. That the T311 model has voice comms as well makes it a no-brainer. Could be better, sure (especially the screen's dpi) but this is going to be a great upgrade from my P6200 (Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus).

Hey guys ,anybody use this tab 3 8.0
1080p (mkv,etc..)videos are played in this tab 3??
Its ppi is low for 8'' disp,but video play clearly or not?
Any other issues in this tab 3 ?

This is good tab from samsung
its 2 months since I am using it , no issue absolutely, good screen, nice touch response
battery is good for a the whole day of extensive us yet I am left with 25-30%
overall a value for money better than ipad mini

Dear Mani,
First of all let me explain a basic point...hanging basically occurs due to a handfull of reasons...the main one being insufficient RAM..the others like buggy apps,unnecessary syncing and slow internet connection
With Samsung Tab 3.8.0 i have not encountered any hanging so far...i have installed around 32 3rd party apps...at any time around 7-9 apps will be running in my tab..but no hanging problem...one thing to note is i have switched off all google sync apps..so as to make performance smooth....may be u can try that
next i cant say which samsung mobile is best since it varies on what u basically need....as far as tab is concerned i feel this one is good in 8 inch segment and definetely better than IPad Mini(atleast in India)
