I don't see why Samsung pushing this device while it already has the Galaxy Tab 7.7?
They're practically almost identical spec-wise.
The Tab 8.0 wins with:
- More RAM (1 Gb vs 1.5 Gb)
- Camera (5 Mpx vs 3 Mpx)
- OS (4.2.2 vs 4.1.2)
- Lighter (314 gram vs 340 gram)
Where The Tab 7.7 wins with:
- Superior Display (SuperAmoled vs TFT)
- Build (Aluminium vs Plastic)
- Front Camera (2 Mpx. vs 1.5 Mpx)
- Battery (5100 mAh vs 4450 mAh)

Any idea when this tablet gets to India? and what the price range would be for the 3G version?
I'm really keen on this product because I am on the fence about buying the Tab 2 (7") but I'd like this one better if the price is only 1-3K higher.
Thinking a (cheap) dual sim phone and a 3G tablet would be the ideal combination for my life. (Which also brings up another question. Will this device work without a SIM card because I plan to put the one from this as my SIM 2 in the phone when I can't be bothered to take this on the go)
Any suggestions?

Samsung
when r u going to release this, always so slow that by the time you release I would have bought something else, same thing happen when you were dragging your feet to relase the Note 10.1 3g..... just too freaking slow, by the time you release there will be tons of others better and cheaper you have to compete, come on early bird gets the worm!
