Loss of dolby sound and its options. Its a biggi, its not as loud and the sound has nowhere near the quality or volume it had before, e en with mx player.We have 2 and I'm not updating the second one if I don't find a remedy for the dolby sound issue.
I know samsung lost the the dolby license but I bought the tablet with dolby sound in it, so I believe sambo should have warned people the dolby song would be lost in the update.
You can now cast the whole tablet screen and guts with the chromecast app.
I don't know about the battery life yet but I'll compare both and post when I know.

Great little tablet somewhat hindered by terrible software . Do as I did and install a custom Rom immediately. Much improvement over the cluster funk the is the Samsung touch wiz ui.

dd, 19 Oct 2014Does watsapp works on a wifi model T310? Pls replyYes, there are ways to install it. Go to the Whatsap site, download the file as .APK into your tab.
Then go to your settings & ensure that you can install non market apps.
Now install. It works.

I am from India, you can update this tab to kitkat 4.4 via Kies pc suite. Dont install kies3. just install latest kies pc suite from samsung. connect your tab to pc and update its software using Kies.
The 4.4 update has fixed all bugs and battery life is improved very much.

im not a heavy user...so this tab really works for me....battery last long...i love my tab....fast internet......i love watching my fav tv series....already upgraded to kitkat
