Hey.I have this tablet for a few years now.Everything was fine until it started to turn off in random moments.Battery was 60% and after turning my tablet on again,battery was 5%.I have no idea what is a problem.That is not main problem because I can get over it.But,the main problem is that my tablet again turned off and i can not turn it on again.I left it to charge to 100% so it charged.But i can not turn it.I opened the back i cleaned dust a little bit,but nothing is happening.I will be very grateful if someone respond me,because i really want to fix this.Thanks a lot.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab is a very solid tablet. Its highlights are a great battery life, recent software, and an overall good performance. While the display is good overall, it offers an HD resolution only and is not laminated. A couple of direct competitors offer very similar hardware at a cheaper price.

had it for four years now(2018) still working fine .I use it for yt skype surfing and watch movies. the wifi on it is amazing i get singnal were my other device's in the house can't.

Anonymous, 24 Feb 2018The reason for the long charging time is just that it is a ... moreYes, you are partially right, since there is another reason, I charged it in 1.5 ma original Sony charger, it took around 2 days to charge, when I charged it by the 2.1 original Samsung charger it took around 5 hours only which is ok..

This tablet is upgradeable to Android 5.0.2 (via OTA, and there are ROMs available in sammobile)

You can change battery and there are YouTube videos showing you how to do it. I changed my battery with no issues.

Pros:
A very stable viewing angle despite it being a TFT Display.
Large 10 inch screen size allows me to easily manoeuvre around apps and to even type with ease.
This tablet runs Real Racing 3 without any problems.
Was already updated to Lollipop 5.0.2.
Speakers on both sides of the tablet, gives a better sound quality than those with one speaker.
Despite having a low clocked quad core A7 CPU, the tablet runs really smooth overall.
Cons:
Battery does drain too fast, especially when large apps continue to run in the background, (this from experience)
Charging at times take too long.
At times the tablet would overheat and forced close some apps.
Despite handling Real Racing 3, other games like Asphalt 8 and Nova 3 run with lags.
Tablet doesn't allow certain apps, pictures or videos to be saved on the SD (memory) card.
Cameras are not the best.
Final thought: Not the greatest but still the best tablet that i owned. Run things smoothly, is not a gaming tablet but i like how it handles Real Racing 3, helps me with my schoolwork and great for watching shows and movies when i installed Kodi and Mobdro on it.

baba, 19 Jun 2017i think..last month we got a update..after that battery pr... moreLooking down at the top of the tablet to the right of the volume button (longest button on the top of the tablet) use your finger nail or flat head precision screwdriver to flip open the slot cover for the micro sd card slot. Slide in the card and close up.
