Just read that IceCreamSandwich will be available for the 8.9, but in april.
My question, anyone any clue about a store or an online shopping to get the 8.9 3g 32GB. In france, uk or Dubai.
All the available r 16gb or without 3g.

at the back of the device its written 16 GB , 3G P 7300 which is the 3G version the WI-fi only is P7310 and i inserted a Sim card that and i used it explore the web , it works . it must be a 3g
i called samsung C S in dubai - they assured thet its 3G and it does not make phone calls

the fierst one is 8.9 & it dosent make pnone call & itz out .am so sorry 2 tell u .you all bought thiz one
the second one iz 8.9 3g & thiz iz ma baby & itz not releaze yet &itz comming out soon so dont blame samsung 4 that blame ur selfz

I have a samsung 8.9 3g,just got it last week.. and i must say im very very impressed. All its applications are working & they serve their purpses wellit has a sim card slot for norma-sized sim cards.. not microsim. So i cn still use it as a phone with regular sims from any part of the world,even for roaming simcards..Sad to say it has no sd card slot,my 32gb mem runs quickly nonetheless.phone calls i make via nimbuzz,a program included in the many free programs in android market.And i bet there are dialer programs we cn install as well. The wifi is fantastic,spots signals quickly and connects to it like a gum. No USB port,but we can connect the micro usb to a regular USB dock then to the any regular USB device such as hard drives. It can instal YM but the YM seems to have degraded their program for tablets, i wud recommend installing ebuddy or nimbuzz better Net is fast. Video calls superb.. camera's ok..but dont expect too much from a 3.2 mgp.
It took me months to actually choose which tab to buy. But really, this ones a keeper, worth every penny. I bought it for 3000 Sr. Now the price just went up to 3400.. means to say.. they are selling like hotcakes

I got this 4 days ago, its my first tablet an I'm so happy I made the right choice after searching the internet for days. the only thing I wish for now is for it to be able to call which I understand was disable just before the release of this piece. I hope samsung Will have a rethink and enable the feature thru update.
To have a longer battery life I don't use 3G at all, I set it to use EDGE only for data and I'm getting almost 2 days with moderate surfing and being online 24/7 on all my social networks. I love this!
