I have just bought it. In the past I was buying only premium devices, but surprisingly this is a really nice tablet.

Samsung does not do tablets with built-in S-Pen holster anyways, I might have considered to pay $900 extra on top of these $200 for the tablet with S-Pen inside, but fortunately Samsung saved my money.

I miss only automatic brightness, everything else I don't need (like vibration, health or fingerprint sensor). Unfortunately even cheap tablets now have Apple-like tray, so you need a pin to open it.

It still has 3.5 connector though. Good things disappear gradually: replaceable batteries, trays that can be opened by nail, hardware buttons, headphones jacks...

    3/32 Gb ROAM, but ...
I think this tab did not support OTG and there is just one sensor, accelerometer only.

The tablet is great in terms of build quality. When it comes to performance I found that it's able to do most tasks such as browsing, watching netflix and even gaming quite well. It doesn't blow your mind and stutters sometimes when switching in between heavy apps. The metal body and slim bezels really make it feel premium.
I found it has a few drawbacks, there is no light sensor on it which I find very disturbing. I really don't understand how they came to the decision to not include it, seems like a very very dumb idea.
Second is the lack of dedicated keyboard cases, unlike the previous generation which had on the side a set of pin connector which enable it to use the Tab S4 keyboard folio.
What beats all of these shortcomings is the price, keep an eye out for sales as they are frequent. I managed to get mine for a mere €170 !

Paul, 29 May 2019Could you help me? I choose between these models Galaxy Tab... moreThe processor of the 10.1 is a bit better its like a snapdragon 632ish (the other is a snapdragon 450). This has a good battery life been using it for 2 weeks now but ram management isn't the best the 10.5 would be better since 3gb but this comes with android 9 out of the box (if that matters to u) the other is 8.1. The10.5 has a bigger battery so battery might be better there since a lower cup so more efficient but overall this isnt bad at all if your gonna be doing normal browsing and YouTube its more than enough. Hope this helps.

Could you help me? I choose between these models Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) and Galaxy Tab 10.5 (2018). I only have it for internet browsing and Youtube watching. Which one is better? I prefer 10.5 model (2018) because it has 3 GB RAM instead of 2 GB RAM (2019), stronger battery, 4 loudspeakers, fast-charging...But I saw some Benchmark or what (I don't understand it :D) and result plays for the 2019 model. But only 2 GB RAM? I think it's not enough for the future. So I don't know, the price difference is 65 USD (57 EUR).

BE AWARE NO multiple user profile option with this model!!! I believe, this is the only Samsung model so far that does not seem to support of setting up multiple user profiles. Even the Samsung tech support (when I called and they connected to my tablet to explore it) were confused since the Tab A manual lists it as an option... All other, older, versions of Tab A, Tab E or Tab S and even the other new 2019 models Tab Se5 or Tab S4 have this option but this one! A deal breaker for us since I intended using this tablet as a multi user - a family "shared" device but unfortunately on this model you will not be able to have more than one profile. That is, there is no option to set up a guest profile or a restricted profiles for kids ( to restrict some apps) other than yours. A deal breaker for us.... Be aware. This is NOT MENTIONED IN ANY of the reviews of this tablet.
