Worse tab ever... Big issues with the touch screen, not responsive, light bleeding and super laggy!!
If restart the tab it will take forever to see the home screen... Sometime it will auto restart again for 2nd time... Btw i'm using t825 LTE model... This tab design is great but the cpu processor, internal storage, ram and limited function is absolutely garbage!!! I dont recommend any1 to buy this tab. The worse part is... There will be no update for this stupid tab, u will remain stuck with v5.1.1 forever...

i have this phone and this is awesome tablet for its 7 inch nice screen, OTG, cheap price and lightweight UI. the cons are no more support to upgrade lollipop to marshmallow, no gyro, 8gb ROM. Prepare your self to buy SD card in large capacity

most likey , if u can hear sounds coming out ot it but you cant see any picture then the LCD screen is broken or burned out.

I find it very "laggy" and agree with another post about the screen not smooth to the touch. I've also had 2 now that won't read the SD Card unless the slot is depressed which is not ideal.

Terrible touch screen, really not working like your phone or any other tablet. You have to 'depress' at every single touch. Even more, the glass is not smooth, it 'grabs' so it's not pleasant to swipe, move, or anything sliding your finger tip on the surface. Which makes this work like a device from the stone era. Not just unpleasant, it simply is not at the standard of a 2016 tablet. The problem is really the touch screen Samsung put on this tablet. I also have the Tab 4 7.0 with the TFT screen and the Tab 4 has a smooth and very responsive glass. The only good point of the Tab A 7.0 is the powerful speaker (much better than in the Tab 4) and the grippy back cover. But because of the terrible touch screen, it's a definitive no buy.

Are you sure it's not usable as a phone? I have a Samsung 9.7 inch with WiFi and 4G/LTE and I have no problems using it as a phone.

I like this phone, not so big yet not so small. One thing that i think what Samsung need to focus on is the camera / phooa quality and the internal memory. This type of phone only come with 8gb of memory which is really really low.

Im very happy with this tablet, no lag, no touch problems, no annoying things happen to me. It work beyond its prices.

Pros and cons from my experience using this (SM-T280)
Pros
1.lightweight
2. Excellent battery life
3. Very good graphics
4. Not too much bloatware
5. Cheap
Cons
1. Need to press hard for touch
2.Storage is limited (4gb user)
3. Music player missing (uses Google Play Music)
I don't do games but light games can work (eg. FIFA Mobile)

AnonD-679414, 23 Jun 2017Where did you get the upgrade to Marshmallow?Lollipop is the only official version that I know of. Though if you have the LTE version (SM-T285) you can upgrade to 7.1.2 (LineageOS) using a custom rom.
