Jack, 01 Apr 2018You are wrong , my Tab E has version 7.1.1 There are two version one (EU Model) is stuck on 4.4.4 and it is still being sold (and costs more than most other models from Acer, Asus, Huawei and Lenovo which all have a better specification) ... there will be no upgrade to this model. Dont waste you money on the outdated samsumg model being sold in the EU.

Samsung cheap products are totally cheap, worst tablet seen. Instead spend some more money and buy an ipad 6th generation which is useful and can be used for more than 3 years.

This is a very good table, BUT, it runs on android 4.4.4. It so out of date, as to be useless. The latest apps are incompatible. For the same money, you can buy an up to date model, as long as it's not samsung, who really do not care about there customers once you've bought the product.

It seems there is 2 version of Tab E 9.6
The U.S. version is thicker and bigger battery capacity.

Guys, how do you use skype or viber with your wired headphones? When I do smth and use headphones, I change the sound volume with the help of volume buttons on the side! But when I speak skype IN HEADPHONES the sound is soooo loud and I can not reduce it! It shows the line on the screen changes it, but physicly the sound wont change!

I have tab E without SIM because has 5000 MAH I thought it would stay for long without sim ,, but it's very good battery life without sim.., this is why I recommended without sim

Had mine since 2016. Great tablet for watching! Movies, documentaries, Game of Thrones, Anime, cartoons, this tablet does them justice on a mobile platform. Viewing angles are great, a very long lasting battery (mine lasts up to 5 days with 1-2 hour usage per day at 70% brightness). And that 16:10 aspect ratio?! Perfect.
If you are a fan of watching videos, this is the tablet for you.
The only bad thing with this tablet is its weight. It's very very very heavy. Don't use this like you would other tablets, wherein you're just holding them at your palm. You need an inclined rest for this.
