Samsung Galaxy Tab hits the shelves on 1 November in UK

01 October, 2010

The Android Froyo powered Samsung Galaxy Tab will be released on 1 November throughout all major UK carriers. Unfortunately the tablet's price is yet to be unveiled.

Samsung officially announced the information via press release, but still left the price out. The one thing it promises is "a range of attractive price packages".

Back at the IFA 2010, a Vodafone DE rep told us the tablet would costs 300 euro on 2-year contract and a 35 euro monthly tariff. What you get for that money is unlimited mobile internet, nothing else. We are yet to see how it turns out.

Simultaneously with the UK carriers, Galaxy Tab will also hit also the major retailers such as Carphone Warehouse, Dixon Store Group, etc.

In the meantime you can check our hands-on video of Samsung Galaxy Tab in our blog.
