The tab pro is much better than the g pad 8.3 in almost every aspect, Especially when it comes to the screen as well as the processor, but you going to have to cough up an extra $150 (U.S).

Speaking in tablet.. im ok whit that..
if u dont like it, its not my prob.
Good "phone" big screen good Res. and caling+sms is Great thing.

Bcoz they dont want u to look ugly and weird talking on 8 inch tab..why dont u guys understand that tab is not meant for calling. Even phablet looked fugly :)

Does this table come with an app, "Awesome Note", which Note 8.0 comes with? That's an incredible app, I think. It should come with this, or at least, it should be able to purchase with this tablet.

This tab is the best like it or not... 359ppi ha brothers just shut up... Even if it's $800 i will be the first to buy i mean it's just PERFECT!

We want to assume the one you bought is Samsung Galaxy tab pro 8.4 since you posted here :) Could you share your experience so far? Does it support GSM calls? Surely ,A tough opponent for the iPad mini.Never thought Samsung would make such an Incredible tab.My Galaxy tab 3 sucks .Since that, I just love Apple Ipad mini^s.Cant believe Samsung's latest tab would go this bad :( .Apple's got to be careful !

I have been a happy Samsung galaxy user ever since Nokia chose the wrong path in terms of OS. I currently have a note 2 with Jellybean 4.3 and a tab 2 with Jelly bean 4.2.2 and I am highly pleased with both devices. I decided not to upgrade my note 2 to note 3 because note 3 is over-hyped and overpriced. There is no point paying a lot for less, especially when you have something that does almost the same thing. With Jellybean 4.3 running on my note 2, I am highly pleased with the performance. The only difference between note 2 and note 3 is the S-Pen functionality. Who uses the S-Pen that much anyways?
Also, I decided not to update my tab 2 7 to tab 3 7 because the latter is a mistake from Samsung. I wonder who decided that mistake in the first place? Besides, I don't like those annoying hardware buttons, especially the menu button on tab 3, note 8 and note 10.1 2014.
Samsung galaxy tab 8.4 pro should be a replacement for my tab 2 7 not just because of the mouth watering hardware specs but because of the following reasons as well:
1. The annoying menu button has been replaced with multitasking button, a feature I love so much in my tab 2, rather than a doing long press on the home button key to achieve the same purpose on tab 3, note 8 and note 10.1 2014.
2. It will also be a plus if the GSM functionality is retained in galaxy tab 8.4 pro.
3. If condition 2 above is not met, I will still go for it anyways provided condition 4 below is met.
4. If it is not overpriced like note 3.
