Im using this tab as a phone now (you will need a headset,it only has loudspeaker), its so light and comfortable, i don't mind 4:3 at all, its better for web browsing, Facebook, e-books. It has great speakers for its size and just amazing all around. People complaining about ppi, comparing to smartphones and phablets... Hello, screen is way larger, ergo less ppi. Screen is amazing. Only thing i miss is led flash.

Everything about this tablet is great, except (1) no camera flash and (2) no spen. I'm so confused as to why a flagship tablet will not have these things!

Does the s2 9.7 only have speaker phone or also normal earphone ?

Yes Samsung is known for image sensor pixel size about 2 micrometers so it can take pictures even in low light tough hardware , Samsung buyers don't go away form this big brand

Last year, i believed that Samsung topped Apple with the Galaxy Tab S over the iPad Air 2. This year, they just remade an android version of the iPad Air 2.
The Tab S2 downgrades from 288ppi to 264ppi, from a full macbook pro retina screen to 1536 x 2048 (really, why?), did the processors get downgraded too?
No wonder the price on Amazon.com for the Galaxy Tab S1 got bumped up by $100.
Really bad year for samsung's tablets....

Its down grade. After viewing debates about 4:3 vs 19:9 etc, and tried Tab A 9.6" and Tab s 10.5" in Samsung shop, voted for Tab 10.5". 4:3 is best selling tablet for iPad is this aspect ratio, and apple always have best user experience etc., this is surviorship bias. If its intention is reading fixed format eBook, e.g.. pfd book and the size is limited to that small iPad air only, 4:3 is best economic using of space for reading A4 pdf. For kindle, it format according to aspect ratio. The large 10.5" just little bit narrower in portrait mode. For typing document in portrait orientation, it has more room for document, the keyboard occupied nearly 1/3 of height in 9.7" Tab A. No downgrade in reading experience. Its important that consuming visual content is inevitable. Viewing movies in play store, most movie wider aspect ratios than 16:9. For 9.7" 4:3 tabs, the viewing experience worse than a phablet phone.
