Why samsung is not bringing 8 inch tablet with high configuration with stylus.

Samsung made this tab due to the overbuy of the SD835 and ended up with releasing a tablet with last year chipset despite the SD845 already available and the next gen is on the way

And dont get me wrong but for 700 euros we can get any of above in a cell phone even more.
Dont try to tell me that bigger battery more plastic to put all veins inside and a bit bigger screen cost 700 euros?
Xiaomi F1 Pocophone have much better specs for 400 less in money.

Ten incher Amoled must have cost a lot compared to those filthy lcd types.
And in some places like Australia, Tab S4 costs more than Tab S3 for some strange reason.

No SD 845 No adreno 630 no 8GB ram no 512GB disk space.
No under display fingerprint reader, no SVOOC.
No THX-certified amplifiers
And many other things this expensivie piece of junk is missing.

Meant for those serious multi taskers who use their tablet for productivity, not just entertainmnt, hence, the addition of a pen. Also meant for those who need a lighter laptop, yes, a LAPTOP, for added convenience. I have the original tab s 10.4, and its still going strong except for the baterry which is normal for an almost 4 year old gadget. And i think i have found its replacmnt, the tab s 4!

The 835+4GB RAM combo is exactly what the S8 had, which also uses DEX. Objectively it is more than enough for Android, as there still is nothing capable of using more than 2gigs of RAM.
The extra ram adds supposed future proofness in case someone decided to use the extra ram. But does this warrants the extra battery drain for everything? The focus of complaining should be on the cost since Samsung used an older chip, maybe leftovers from previous generations of flagships, older cameras, mainstream memory modules and HDD capacities, the tablet ought to be cheaper!
Expensive tablets don't sell well, esp in the Android world and truly we have no alternatives, but once you sell smth so expensive, you either fit with the best specs there are, or sell it at a reasonable price. Unfortunately, having no alternatives and ppl blindly giving a fortune on Apple for doing the same truck with the specs, put us in the same position. Samsung does that, because she can...

This tab is a perfect laptop replacement it has inbuilt samsung dext. Only thing is missing sd845 chip set

I see that Tab S4 model SM-T835 (LTE) 4G has call menu like any phone. Can i make voice calls if I insert the sim card from my phone ?

must by it, because of the AMOLED.
All other companies sleep on old in-plain-switching.
