I don't have the cellular version but mine has GPS and is showing 36 satellites. I use it to navigate and it never misses a beat.

I've been sleeping on this tablet for too long. I didn't realise that this tablet has the same Snapdragon 670 SoC as the Google Pixel 3a/3a XL, yet Samsung didn't skimped out the USB3 with wired video output and DeX support. This proves that a midrange SoC can still do mobile productivity work without much problem.

I don... moreI have decided that the S5e is the best budget tablet here, Pixel Tablet is a little too expensive, S6 Lite 2022 costs more than the S5e with worse specs and no AMOLED, and common screen defects. S5e has custom ROM support so it should last a while. For me, S5e is perfect. Pixel Tablet is only a bit better while being a lot more expensive and no AMOLED.

I'm wondering, should I get this, the S6 Lite 2022 variant, or the Pixel Tablet. I want to be able to run custom ROMs in the future. Tab S6 fulfills everything but the custom ROM support

Just got this sexy tablet in mint / new condition on eBay, received it within 2 working days ... as with all my Android devices, first thing is to ditch the default OS (spyware/bloatware) and installed LineageOS. Voila, it outperforms most other tablets costing way more and I am in FULL CONTROL of my device and not stuck with some overprized wannabe premium closed source device/eco system. Also, no Google, no ads, no lag, no big brother, bla bla bla.
I have the 128/6GB version and it is blazing fast. The screen doesn't come off, the battery holds over a day with normal use.
Thank you LineageOS team for giving us some freedom back, FU to all big tech censoring and data harvesting companies, you won't get my money or consent.
