Only tab s6 and s6 lite onwards are eligible for the 3 years of updates. S5e will only have 2 major updates starting from android 9. Samsung has never stated that the 3 years updates for all s series tablets or phone, but only the more recent models.

Sammy Sammy, 16 Oct 2020I just bought Tab S5e from samsung store today and overall ... moreSamsung Tab S5e was released in February 2019 with Android 9.0 Pie. A truly brand new, sealed, unopened Samsung tab S5e should come with Android 9 Pie.
If the unit you bought already has Android 10 out of the box, it most likely did not come from a sealed box straight from the factory. It was probably updated by the seller or it's also possible it was a returned item sold as new.

It had several security patch updates afterwards, and then was updated to Android 10 in the first semester of 2020. After the Android 10 update, there were again security patch updates. The last security patch update also contained update to OneUI 2.5.

I bought my s5e few months ago. I got three updates after I set it up. . Its was on android pie then an update to Android 10 and then I got the update for 2.5.

Yes i am facing Wifi issues as well, often it disconnects automatically and may not connect unless you switch it off and try to connect again, moreover it seems the WIFI added to the device may just have a weaker range too apart from software issues.

The 2019 tab S6 however, despite being released just 3 months after the tab S5e in the same year, will get 3 major android updates which means it will have Android 12.
The 2020 released tab S6 lite will already get 3 major Android software updates despite being cheaper than the 2019 tab S5e and despite having a mediocre Exynos chip. Must be Samsung's way of promoting Exynos powered devices which very few buyers like (inferior to snapdragon equivalents).

Alll Samsung Galaxy smartphones and tablets that came pre-installed with Android 9 Pie should expect another (final) OS upgrade to One UI 3.0 based on Android 11. This includes units still waiting for their first major OS upgrade to One UI 2.0 or 2.1 for that matter.

lunixxx, 29 Sep 2020does it run Neftlix on HDR?Nope. Both tab S6 and tab S5e have the same non-HDR amoled panel but weirdly enough, Netflix shows HDR titles on the tab S6 but not on the tab S5e even if both are incapable of correctly playing movies in HDR.
