Ditching the 3.5mm audio jack is a problem, Samsung does not care for customer satisfaction. Why? Firstly a document how USB audio works: https://www.soundguys.com/usb-audio-explained-18563/
And secondly a document about the real-world problems of this approach: https://www.pcworld.com/article/3284186/bring-back-the-headphone-jack-why-usb-c-audio-still-doesnt-work.html
Bluetooth audio has its own problems: connection issues, quality issues, privacy issues, additional battery and charging...

-Get one on a discount (Probably still the most expensive solution)
-Bluetooth keyboard + mouse + tablet holder setup (Less expensive, but no cover)
-USB keyboard + mouse + USB-C to USB-A adapter + USB hub + tablet holder (Cheapest solution since most people already have some of these and good for gaming, but still no cover and the most difficult to setup)
Personally, I've used the 3rd option on a Windows tablet before. Total setup cost was about $25 and it felt like using a miniature all-in-one PC which was cool for me.

I have had this tablet for a while now (since release) and must say it has been fantastic. The screen is great, especially when streaming videos and it works very well as a laptop replacement with a handy bluetooth keyboard and mouse, whenever i need to get a little work done while on the train. And I have one of the latest iPads as well, and it has its advantages as well, but this is my number one for streaming and gettng a little ork done.

So, I eventually decided to buy one of these bad boys for University, and so far no regrets.
I got the base 128GB model, so far it's a pleasure and much more pleasant to look at compared to my old Surface Pro 2 that it replaced. Here's a pic to show the difference http://imgur.com/gallery/61If4vx
Pros:
Great screen, speakers (LOUD, great speakers), and trim bezels make this a media monster.
Fast at everything, handles all my emulated games and Office apps, Pydroid for coding
DeX is great but it needs the keyboard and mouse to get full use out of it.
S-Pen is always a lovely addition, great for doodles and semi-serious art.
Air Actions are genuinely useful (depending on the app)
Cons:
The Book Cover keyboard is not worth the price. It's useful but not £100+ useful. Mine also is still stuck in American layout when typing after firmware updates when its UK layout.
S-Pen button needs the ability to act independently in apps. I'm sick of pressing it while drawing for the Shortcuts screen to come up.
No Linux on DeX available yet on this device.
I believe my niggles can be fixed with software updates. Please see this post, Samsung.
