When you charge this tab s8, does it go black and go to the lock screen i think its not normal tried turning off fast charging and still no diff

just bought it used for around 400 usd ( cheapest in the market that is prime condition), and ive been using it for a week replacing my tab s7 fe and here are the differences :
screen is smaller but now i can use it better on my desk,
battery ofc smaller but its lasts about 6 hours ( 80% to ~25%)
compared to my s7 fe ( 80 - 40%) for 6 hrs, so i dont mind it
everything else is great, very smooth and worth it for the cheap price i got!

Imagine having a flagship tablet with TFT, outdated technology, why not better looking IPS? How come they price it over MSRP S2 which had AMOLED.
Also, what's up with no headphone jack? This is thicker than Tab S2 and no headphone jack?
