And I agree with you, oled is so overrated, yes it's better than an lcd, but a good lcd is not that bad at all, plus you get to avoid all the issues of an oled.

If the Tab S8 (and S8+) will only have a single front ultrawide camera for real, then this will be the one I'd pick between the three. I see no point in choosing the Ultra variant as I see much better value in buying a Windows laptop or tablet instead. Also, I don't mind having an IPS LCD panel since it's less prone to suffer from screen burn-in, unlike an OLED panel.

Ronnie, 31 Jan 2022Does optical fingerprint sensor under display works with LC... moresaw couple of phones in the past couple of years, nothing since, it does work but quite expensive and this isn't going to be a cheap tablet at all, which makes me wonder why did they go with lcd? to maximize profit from the "cheapest" one?.
