Lucky0670 , 28 Mar 2024My tan s9+ has updated to one ui 6.1 and add AI features today..So much hype about AI, not that people actually benefit much from it other than (very likely) allowing these companies and agencies to spy on us, and this is not even a conspiracy.
But unfortunately, most people just buy what these companies offer before thinking twice.

                Sorry Samsung,
Since the tab S3 (aspect ratio of 1:1.33) , could not down-upgrade to later tabs with aspect ratio 1:1.6.

First upgrade I now did, and yes I sold myself short for years, I just did is the Oneplus Pad 2 with aspect ratio of 1:1.4. This (sh)could have been a Samsung, some years ago 😉

Tip from a grateful Fold user since the '3' came out

As a developer I leave this plugged in all the time, and the screen is so energetic that the tablet can never fill its battery with the screen on. So I can recommend this tablet for a gamer who takes bio-breaks during which they can power off the screen and leave the tablet plugged into a power supply

Updated from an s7 plus. Which seems really Strange to me, given samsung's screen size and the The benchmarks weren't huge as far as the differences concerned. Screens definitely upgraded the 4 NM processor really snappy. Thoroughly impressed with it. I didn't think it was worth the money. I considered the ipad pro 13 m4. But the OS ecosystem for someone that doesn't need user-friendly is not gonna fly. The specs are really impressive, but it, I just feel like they're operating system is a sliver of what you get with android. I don't game on here really. If you had to play Fortnite on a tablet, I could see that being what reason to go with the iPad pro. But then you'd be stuck with basically the Home Screen Android, which is all I feel like they're on is. Battery. Life's a lot better on this one. And I was impressed with the other one. Not going to use my tablet has a laptop either. Why would you? I have a computer. I have an xbox. I just wanna solid performing tablet should have waited for s10. I'll be alright. Not a single complaint.

I think it is PWM of 120hz , which is bad for those sensitve. Unfortunately i don't think that is fixable. But search in Samsung forums and contact Samsung.

                      From Notebookcheck review:
Screen flickering / PWM detected 120 Hz
The display backlight flickers at 120 Hz (worst case, e.g., utilizing PWM) .
The frequency of 120 Hz is very low, so the flickering may cause eyestrain and headaches after extended use.

Be careful with PWM in screens for your children now that probably they are sensitive.

This setting causes a burst of brightness in the selected apps and can be seen as screen flicker.

                          Hope this helps.

Terrible screen for eye health, I bought this for my two children and after 10 minutes watching Netflix they both started complaining about their eyes are getting tired and itchy. Also I bought this as an upgrade from an Ipad pro (2019 model) which they never had any complains about itchy eyes. Also I ve noticed myself that the samsung tab screen is very bright and and has something like a flickering which you can spot it with your peripheral vision (not looking directly to the screen) which making your eyes losing focus (for milliseconds) from time to time. ( to note I have set up brightness to auto adapt as I had with the Ipad pro). I believe this screen can cause permanent eye damage if used for long periods and I'm surprised how samsung released a product that can be dangerous to health.

As a drone pilot, I am often searching for some specs for some phones and tablets. The last I have searched was Samsung Galaxy Tab S9+ for background light intensity (how many nits it has), but GSMARENA did not provide that info...So, please consider it in the future. Thnx

The s24 ultra even have a better resolution than the s9 plus, so s24 ultra should have smaller pixels what happened if we buy a magnifying glass and zoom in the pixels from the s24 ultra and the s9 plus so we should see the pixels if it is to small pixels than we dont see it
