Hi, I have been using Tab S 8.4 LTE for 2 years now. It has an amazing display, vivid colours, great contrast. Camera is high quality. Speakers good output. You can make calls. But you cant use it like a normal phone, because it has serious battery issues. Screen flickering and restarting occurs when battery is drained, so limit usage time. But after two years, I'd say if i bought a phone and a laptop separately would have been a better choice instead Tab S 8.4 LTE. But i must say again, Tab S 8.4 display is really impressive.

Alexander, 16 Apr 2017Is it so that they come with different CPUs?Yes they do, Qualcomm Chipset with 4 cores and may be slighly better graphic performance, or samsung's own exynos chipset with 8 cores performance is same for both varients but exynos runs cooler and gives more battery life. Qualcomm should be officially available in USA only while Exynos rest of world except USA.

I do not recommend, same problems as commented below and lots more. Servis, if I can call it even like that, was not helpfull and not profesional. My sister has same model and she also complain on battery, system and screen. It looks like that they wasn't much carefull while creating this tablet. Shame that I spend so much money on something I can not properly use... I do not recommend and probably will never buy any tablet or phone from samsung.

Gel, 17 Apr 2017Flickering problem solved by turning power saving mode but ... moreI had very bad experience after purchasing this tab...screen flikering , shudden change in battery %, network issue, auto reboot....what not faced many problems....only one solution for all these problems is battery replacement....after battery replacement my tab is working perfect

My tablet was working perfectly until i did the upgrade to 6.0, now my battery percentage is always at 100%. How can i fix this? I have done a factory reset but it still hasn't fixed my problem.

Flickering problem solved by turning power saving mode but sometimes still flicked and restarting, so I decided to open the back cover and remove the battery and disconnect the cable and returned after a few seconds and it works, now my tab works normal without turning on the power saving mode. I don't believed the first time I read this procedure but after i googled this flickering issue, this is the most answer and so I tried. you can use a guitar pick to open the back cover, but since I don't have one, i made one hehe. see in YouTube, how to open in the right way.
