Mouck, 17 Oct 2014Hi There i want to buy a Samsung Tab S 8.4 and want to know... moreHi friend, i use this tablet. We can call, sms, viber, line with it . .but i cannot use whatsapp yet.
It doesn't have NFC and Waterproof but it has finger print sensor , 4G LTE, light weight , thin . . .
Its browsing speed is fast. .camera 8 MP not bad :)
Battery is OK ! ( same as GS Note 3)

Love this tab in a heartbeat! I can pretty much do what I want in this tab.. the screen is stunning, as in wow... no regrets in choosing this over ipad mini 2.. see for yourself just compare the two devices.. :-)

i love this tab so much !!! im using it for games and web browsing!! f.y.i there is no modern phone that can last longer if your using it constantly!! a phone is not a phone if dont know how to use it!! this phablet is for modern ages and oldies as well.

The wr... moreI contacted samsung customer service but the response was to reset which I am not so satisifed the result although a slight improvement to battery life. I fully charged it a day before and still 54% when I left this morning.
I'll try to ROOT my tab S to wipe out those unwanted pre-installed sam apps.

Can we use Tab S 8.4 LTE as a phablet?
As i am using galaxy mega 6.3 easily fit in my pocket and have no issue. I want to buy this tab as phablet for normal use, keep in my jeans pocket etc so share your views guys if u have this beauty giant.

I would say... There is a battery error on the tab.
The wrong battery info is affecting the charging, and also the battery life.
Hope Samsung come up with a software update to resolve the issue.

I bought my tab S 8.4 two days ago and battery really sucks. Charging is really wierd. I observed the charge went sometimes from 65% to 100% in a second? come on!! Battery drains so fast. I did hard reset and wipe out data but still the same battery life after reseting.
Today I leave it playing music to fully drain the battery, hopefully will fix battery issues after recharging.
I'll post my observation later.

abdullah, 12 Oct 2014how install whats app ???? You cannot download whatsapp on this tab. However You can easily install Whatsapp by sharing your installed whatsapp from one of your android phones.

I buy it just because it comes with a free Samsung Galaxy Gear Fit smart watch in a special promotion, and a free Samsung original book cover in a much discount price. Hahahahaha......
