Let's show those lazy bums our support on our phones and demand for an ICS update! Just because their high-end smartphones are selling like hot pancakes, it doesn't give them the rights to ignore these mid-ranged phones. We spent 300+ dollars for this device that we expect would get the latest updates available, too. If i'd only knew that this would happen, I should've gotten the Xperia arc S instead!

Samsung went back to the thinking board and is reconsidering ICS upgrade for the Galaxy S. They were bombarded with emails from angry Galaxy S owners after they have released the news about ics upgrade for galaxy devices. It worked so Samsung is now reconsidered it. We must also do the same! let us all e-mail Samsung and persuade them to bring ICS into our device. It's not fair when Galaxy W's not getting ICS upgrade while an old device like galaxy S does. If they can bring ICS to that old, aging Galaxy S, why not to our Galaxy W!!!

The phones speaker when your makibg a call is absolutely fine and you can hear everyone clearly, when u put it on loudspeaker it is VERY loud and ckear.

Hi there. I purchase this phone for my wife a few days ago and I want to say that it really is an excellent choice. I had to choose between the W and the S Plus. The only argument for the S Plus was the Amoled screen. But this means a much bigger phone which is no longer a pocket device. Otherwise, the W is perfect. The quality of the screen is superb! The build in memory is more than enough (except if you want to install the navigation maps). The 5MP camera with flash (unlike the S Plus) work good. The 1.4 Ghz CPU is more then enough! The 512Mb of RAM are enough is you are careful with the applications that remain open (most memory is used by the online apps like FB, YM etc). All in all, the Galaxy W was the best choice for my wife and I recommend it highly!

I'm undecided between buying Samsung Galaxy Ace S 5830 and Samsung Galaxy W I8150.
What do you think, which model is better?
And what about the battery life?
My friend has got Galaxy S I9003 and has to recharge it every single day.
And as for the phones I've mentioned above is the faster processor of Galaxy W the only difference between them?
By the way, can it recognise Chinese characters?
