for those asking if this phone will get ics my opinion is this phone willnt get ics because the gpu and chipset is way old and slow for ics its almost same with htc nexus one where google itselt announced that willnt get ics (nexus one)

Mine galaxy w is good,for middle class who need phone that value for our money.processor is good as galaxy s plus,better in image focus..thank for samsung!!!

[deleted post]No announcement if this'll get ICS upgrade yet, but you'll be missing out a lot if you chose Nexus S over GW like DNSe sound enhancement, expandable memory, 14mbps 3G, 720p HD video recording, DivX/XviD/radio, swype, etc. In short, GW is far more superior than Nexus S ;)

It's a phone not an all-in-one machine, that's why you have portable hard drives and PCs for those kind of needs. Unless there's a really big reason why you need to have that file in the phone, there are better solutions elsewhere.
