You can still extract more battery juice if you use Startup Audit to disable some apps you probably won't use much (Maps, Location, etc), and use Advanced Task Killer set to Aggressive. You can also root your phone (the best and easiest method is http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1320350) and remove apps that load by themselves which you might not use, that's another option.

1. time to time connected to wifi to update facebook, twitter, foursquare, check emails, surfing, online gaming (3-4 hours per day)
2. playing HD games such as dead space, asphalt 5 HD, fruit ninja HD (1-2 hours)
3. all day texting
4. 1 to 2 hours of calls
can you call me a heavy user?

Rei, 01 Dec 2011This phone was NOT meant to play full HD videos. Only dual-... moreActually i can play Full HD videos in my galaxy w given that the size should not exceed 1GB. Otherwise, the video can not be played on the built-in video player, or can play but without audio.
I have installed QQ player from android market and it can play full HD but only up to 1.5GB, but the last played function is not working. QQ player will fast forward it until it reaches your last played time of the video.
One thing i only realized, that 1.4 GHz processor could really do a lot but with a little sacrifice. Dual cores are the best but HTC's cant play even MKV and FLV video formats.

I would recommend getting a case to protect the screen and lens from now on :)

I heard that this model was launched in UK, but for some reason suddenly disappeared frm the market, some say it is out of stock, n some says it has some issues, don't know the exact reason, but hoping that whenever it may launch in India all its bugs may get fixed.

However my unit gets ... morei think your unit has a problem. mine never get soo warm like yours.maybe you're playing games? playing games do drained the battery fast.but if you just let it on standby.few calls and a lot of sms.. few wifi's.. mine can last from the morning until i want to sleep back at night.

Everything about this phone seems to be fantastic.. Just doubtful whether the 1500 mh battery gives enough talk time. Any updates on this owners ?
