AnonD-37749, 29 Sep 2012how you update it to ICS 4.0.4 ?He or she is sure to use custon rom like cyanogenmod 9 beta 1. Like mine, this rom is very fast and i like it. But i use biohazard one which cyanogenmod 9 based :)

Ryan, 29 Sep 2012I bought this on the release date, I've been using it almos... moreSGW battery last around 6 - 8 months, the battery will deteriorate & get bloated, battery will drained faster & occasionally phone turn off.
Luckily the cost of replacement is consider cheap approx $25 for original unit.

I bought this on the release date, I've been using it almost a year now, only prob for me is battery draining, but that only occurred after like 10 mons :)

Hi im considering getting this phone as a budget option. but was just 'wondering' if there were alternatives that may be bit better for that price range, perhaps due to the galaxy w's age?

I have install 3G watchdog apps from google play to turn off the data connection whenever i do not need to use it, this will too reduce the battery usage.

battery discharge very fast, I charge it fully in night and I turn off wifi, bluetooth, GPRS, and I do not use any games or browsing or calling or messaging play music and I found the charge in morning 80%

why my samsung w the skype is not working i can only see blue screen, and i read that should installed the 8 version but its not available... or should the os must be upgrade???
