just bought this phone yesterday and tried to download whatsapp. However, this app doesnt seem to be available!! is it just me or does this happen to everyone?

i just bought galaxy w when i use it's cam it gives me an error msg "capture failed" .. any one help ?

samsung galaxy w is a good phone. Even it has 1.4 ghz it works like dual core. unfortunately it will not have official ics update because samsung just care about there money. we must tell samsung that sgw must have upgrade!

Well if you turn GPS and wifi off until necessary, and reduce brightness etc you can get reasonable battery life .I'm very happy but of course you may wish to consider other opinions.just go with what you feel yourself.my old Nokia 5230 was good phone , battery life was fantastic, but didn't have extra good features like my new wonder has.though I still like Nokia , I'm happy with my galaxy wonder.

hey guyz..im really confused..i wanna buy a middle range phone below 15,000...nd im not sure abt SG W!!! reading about ur comments on battery life...hw long does the battery stay 4 a day??with net and without net???and will it b safe 2invest money on dz phone or is der ny otr good phones that is n d range as well as wd btr battery life??plsss suggest...

Lately, I've been facing some issue with browsing the web on my SGW through my mobile network (GPRS). I just can't access to any type of webs or pages without using WiFi, I've tried to use other web browser programs but still not working..unless using WiFi. Has anyone experienced the same issue?? any suggestion or solution would be very much appreciated. thanks in advance!

awais, 03 Jul 2012I have also updated latest firmware today. how can i unlock... moreGo to Location & Security - Set Screen Lock - Choose Facial Recognition - Make sure your face fit into the oval shape photo frame - then set secondary screen lock (Pattern, Pin or Password) - Now when you want to unlock you phone just face the oval photo frame again & blink your eye once (walla done) - have fun :-)
Note : just incase facial recognition didn't work or too dark, use the secondary unlock you set earlier to overide the lock.

it is a good phone but i got it with 350 mb ram instead of 512mb so is there anyway i can increase my ram. excluding that i would like to advise al users to only have 9 pages of app(including what came with the phone) or else your phone will be damn slow
