1 No. you're going to use your external sdc if you flash so don't unmount.
2 No. current apps will stay after rooting (i used zergrush).

Anonymous, 20 Feb 2012If i am not mistaken Kies Air allow connection between PC/N... moreI dunno about you but I updated mine to x.x.6 through kies air. and yes, the portrait qwerty is quite a bit smaller compared to iPhone. if you want haptic feedback when you type, go to settings>language and keyboard>swype settings. turning to samsung keypad instead of swype makes the qwerty keypad a little bigger. hope this answer all your questions. :)

AnonD-41907, 20 Feb 2012So is the qwerty smaller than the iphone i dont thinkso bec... moreFirst of all don't try to start an argument for the sake of having one, it is not the matter of the screen size, it more on the QWERTY button been too small, i shall call SGW (Honey I shrunked SGS+) where the layout was design base on SGS+ 4" screen, when SGW shrinked to 3.7" the button become too small, infact i have tried both IP4 & Nokia 710 c/w smaller 3.5" screen which is easy to type compare to 3.7" SGW (Note : i am talking about Portrait mode) absent of those little vibration on the key make it even harder.
As for the RAM you would notice it constant running almost 60-80%, upon open a few apps the active apps widget turn red indicating the 351MB RAM is running almost at max.
As i said for a 300 bucks it's still a value for money phone, other can evalue base on it's pros & cons to decide on their purchase.
