I do have LTE but do not use it as I am now on a cheap prepaid plan which does not allow for LTE. Other than that the watch is my daily watch and I do play with it quite a lot. I frequently take my blood pressure and ECG, I am constantly downloading and changing watch faces just for fun and also receive and read text messages but do not send.

Do you have the 44m version? That has almost double the capacity of the smaller variant. Does yours have LTE/do you use 4g? Do you actively usse the watch or just keep it as an accessory and see the time once in a while?

I charge it at the same time every morning and it normally has about 45% charge left when put on the charger again. I thought that both watches were very supposed to be similar. Cannot fault the SGW5.

Ive tried so much to like this little guy but the battery on it is abysmal. Everything else is great, but whats the point of having all those handy features if you cant even use them most of the time (well if you want the watch to last you a day that is). Other than that the convienence of getting notifications and controlling the music on your phone remotely is nothing to scoff at. It can also connect to the phone remotely via mobile data but its finicky at best.
Standalone, it can play/stream music, use paying services and even use most popular messaging apps (most need to be sideloaded though) convenienty using google text to speech. However as i said the battery makes the concept of using it standalone a far off dream.
So anyone looking to buy this, i'd go for the bluetooth version and use it as an accessory..no need to spend more on lte.

Is there a chance that you were swimming with it and did not dischage any water from it.

This galaxy watch 4 is total garbage. It used to work then suddenly everything stopped working. It doesn't get on, but continuosly keeps vibrating (in dead screen). Even when put on for charging, same vibration after an interval of 5-10 secs keeps happening but screen never turns on.
This watch is supposed to be swim proof in pool for 30 mins (without deep diving below 1m).
The problem first occured after i used it while swimming a couple of months back.
Later after 2-3 days it got resolved. After tge incident i never took it for swimming.
But again the problem started from last week and since last 2 days the watch is not turning on. When put fir charging it keeps vibrating. Then it continues to vibrate till the battery dies.
PLEASE SUGGEST if anyone faced similar issues and finally got it resolved.

Nik, 16 Dec 2023The watch takes lots of time to get charged like it's ... moreMy Galaxy Watch 5 takes around 1 hour to fully charge from about 20%. Even when down to zero the watch takes less than 2 hours to fully charge. Check the integrity of your power supply.

The watch takes lots of time to get charged like it's takes 3 to 4 hours to get fully charged even using a fast charger. I just bought this last week and what might be the issue.

I've got the wifi/bluetooth version,
Call auto switches to phone and I can't switch it back to the watch,
I've tried resetting it twice and it made no difference.
Anyone else has similar problems? any solutions?

Has some cool features, but battery life is abysmal. Mine got the white screen of death after about 6 months.

Or even uninstalling and re-installing the 'Watch wear" app. on your phone and re-connecting. don't rule anything out.

This galaxy watch 4 is total garbage. It used to work then suddenly voice activation of timer and everything else stopped working, cant connect to network, shows connected to phone (also samsung S21 Ultra) but cant do anything at all - dont know why but hours wasted and seems like since last phone OS update this watch turned into a useless piece of trash that is good for absolutely nothing

I can use my gw4 for lte conversations, record run activities and listen music on lte in the same time. I use it for over one year. Overheating problem appear only in low signal conditions. In that zones you must have the phone with you, or turn aeroplane mode. Simple!

The battery so weak , not even last long half day. Have to charge frequently like my zlfip 4, my watch full charge at 10am , can last until 4pm only , the battery life left only 15% and draining fast. Did i do something wrong or i have to send it to service center???

Display not showing on watch
I went service centre nd they r saying there is sweating deposition so this is not covered in warranty.
Is this really the reason to say?
