Sleep tracking of "Samsung Watch 4" doesn't agree with "FitBit".
I got the Samsung Watch 4 as a preorder two days ago. I am not THAT impressed and the Samsung Active 2 is still adequate for its functions.
With Fitbit, I get better scores and more deep sleep. With Samsung Watch 4, I get a lot less deep sleep and fewer scores.
Fitbit is theoretically much better in sleep tracking and that would make Samsung Watch 4 a gimmick.
I don't know what to believe.

It's said that some of the features of watch 4 - similar to active 2 and watch 3 - only work on galaxy devices. I wouldn't pay for something and get half the features as I don't have a galaxy smartphone, but I have a galaxy tablet. Will I be able to get these features on my tablet? Can I even connect it to a tablet?

Why no camera? ... moreIt does have a mic and speakers and you could make voice calls on it and about cameras there is an option to snap pics on your phone wirelessly with your watch but cameras on watches have never been a good idea since the size and processor don't really allow it without taking up a lot of space

Until Samsung develop a proper PC/web based application to download, keep and properly analyze the exercises and health information, similar to Polar Flow, it will not gain the hearts of the sport community, imho
