I just had my watch 4 delivered today and I am really disappointed. Am I the only one experiencing this? So yes, it has 16gb interal storage but even without installing anything, the storage is showinh 8.40gb used storage. WTF

Bought the 40mm Watch4 to replace an Active2. Watch4 doesn't do any more than the Active2, but has less than half the battery life.
Also, don't let the fact it's running WearOS in the background fool you, this looks and acts exactly like a Tizen watch - most apps on your phone that link with WearOS don't work, because the Watch4 doesn't use the WearOS subsystem on the phone.
The Blood oxygen sensor only seems to work while sleep tracking is active, so that's a pretty useless feature.
I returned my Watch4 after 2 weeks, back to my Active2.

Tried the galaxy watch for 2 days and returned it. It is gimmick. Battery is lucky to last 12 hours. That made it useless from the start. Who wants to carry a battery charger with you. It will not connect to your blue tooth phone to use it. for calls. Second you must add a phone line to use answer and receive phone calls. Most major carriers charge $9.99 a month for a line for phone. The reading for BP is not even close to actual reading. It does give great apps but who wants to look at such a small screen when you can use phone for same functions. It is just a gimmick for people who must have ti.

Poorest battery life ever! I owned a galaxy active and gear sport before and this galaxy watch 4 has the poorest battery ever. 100% fullt charged in the morning, left it on the table without using it, battery dropped to 0% at night. Might as well throw this watch into dustbin

Hi guys, my fair opinion after using it for 2 weeks :
i own a Gear S3 classic too for the past 3 years and despite my Watch 4 (40mm) being a bit nicer and thinner, i think it's a bit of a let down.
-OS Tizen was faster and less confusing to use (too many swiping possibilities now)
-even if i turn off my watch 4 once back home from work every evening, the battery barely lasts 3 days. I had to disable location in its menus to reach "3 days". I don't use wrist movement activation either. In comparison, with same usage, my Gear S3 lasts a full week.
-As someone said, the bezel is way too big and it's not really a touch area since i have to touch the border of the displayed area rather than this (weird, i wasn't understanding the tutorial at first until i did that)
But i still enjoy its brighter Oled screen, its nicer looking menus and customizable options.
Watch apps will be more present later but being able to use Google maps on it is already a great feature.
Its overall flatness and its various easily swappable straps (ordered a few mostly on aliexpress)
Btw, i bought a glass film to protect it from the daily possible damages.
I really hope that most of problems will be fixed within a few updates from Samsung (i have still received a firmware update for my Gear S3 last month), so i know they can do better and probably will.

Well, after lot of thoughts i decided to buy Galaxy Watch (SM-R815F) the 2018 model & cancelled my pre-booking of Watch4 for now. Will wait fr better Samsung watch next year. I got a good deal on this old model watch which was recently made by Samsung in March 2021, I got the LTE version in ₹14k or approx $197.

I have compared the blood pressure monitor of galaxy watch 4 and real blood pressure monitor for about a week.
The blood pressure measurement is a complete scam. The numbers were never far from the 'calibration' value, despite of your real condition. How can samsung sell such a gimmick?

Ordered the Thom Browne edition. Came with Galaxy watch 4.
Reviews - 1 Week usage.
Pros : Very lightweight. Fast UI, Accessibility of Apps is very smooth and no lag.
Cons : Poorest battery. Even with GPS or Low light or Power saving mode, no notifications etc - Battery will hit 50% by 12PM. You must charge it twice a day.
Stats are mostly inaccurate - Steps counter is wrong, calorie counter is wrong when compared to Apple watch. Blood O2 seems accurate. Body measurement of Fat etc is inaccurate. Is it a must buy for all users - No. Should stay happy with Galaxy watch 3
