Has anyone's watch 6 battery has decreased after recent update? Like mine has decreased by almost 14-16hr....is that because of recent SHM update where they are going to alert for irregular heart rate?

There is no information if you read the official site or reviewer sites. They all mentioned that it will work with android as long as specifications like android version etc meets.
Went to Samsung service center and was immediately rejected any assistance because it is not a Samsung phone. There are people in the post who gotten assistance with certain kinder center by borrowing their phone to enroll the device and run purely on LTE.
I repeat that this is not ecosystem related because it is mentioned to work with android as long as specifications is met. But if you cannot get pass wearable app on your phone, the watch totally cannot work at all.
All I am advising is for people who aren't using Samsung phone to be caution on buying this watch. But you just slap thing down with ecosystem. I do not want another person to end up like my incident. I feel like talking to brick wall and I don't think I should just give up replying.

Although I think both devices are good, both the Watch 6, which I have myself, and the Watch 7. But as you noticed, newer devices may even communicate better with each other, I think this is also important for new functions, sometime it require for newer OS, newer processor and etc. Congratulate and wish you a long and good use of these devices. It is advertised to work on Android as along as it meets the specifications. I have a phone that meets watch 6 specification but the watch is not working at all. Due the phone not being Samsung was rejected support.
2. If you have a TV that works with HDMI 2.1 and backward compatible, you gotten the right cable and tv setup box, you cannot get it to work at 4K and it was informed in the product details that setup box not of the same brand might not be full supported. It is understandable.
3. If you have the same setup and you TOTALLY cannot get it to work. This is not ecosystem because it was mentioned to support HDMI. They are supposed to do something and not slap you home with this is not the same brand cable or setup box. THIS IS A LIE.

Just made full payment for Galaxy watch 7 44mm LTE last night.
My usage is normal fitness tracking.
And just Smartwatch things.
Also personally felt have S24 ultra so i should go with latest one.
Even after knowing it will not Support Reverde charging ( which is no use for me ).
I bought watch 7..
Waiting for it to be delivered..

When I was about to change my Active 2 to Watch 6, I first wanted a non-Tizen operating system, because Samsung is already shutting it down. Also, to have the best possible screen protection, RAM and internal memory, design. I actually chose the Watch 6 over the Watch 4 - watch 5 only because the Watch 6 will receive updates longer. Some others things included RAM, sensors and etc. I like to buy newest models always, not olders that moment when i buying devices, but sometime price have many effect to choose. If devices is not very different i buying which cost less. As far as I've heard there is little difference between the Watch 7 and the Watch 6, so if you care about getting updates 1 year longer, a new processor and more memory, I'd probably recommend the Watch 7. Otherwise, I don't think Watch 6 is worse choice and have to cost less these days. You'd practically get all the features, at least when it comes to apnea. By the way this feature is confirmed only in the United States and several other countries, including South Korea. So question is or this feature will works in yours market. Irregular heart tracking is in Watch 6, i hoped to get it, but sadly is available in few countries yet. So it's depend you. If you do not have problem with money and do not have any Wear OS Samsung watch maybe try to buy Watch 7. Longer updates period, newer processor, more memory and similar stuff. If these things is not care Watch 6 is great device. I like my watch and do not regret that i did not waited for Watch 7.
