Even Motorola tried with a circular dial - mobile in mid 2000 but it wasn’t a great success. Apple Watch (I have Ultra 2) faces struggling with good Classical Watch Faces due to the rectangle shape and the classic watch face look completely mired with crowded info around the edges. When I look at Watch 6 Classic Watch Dials they look more spaced out and the dials are very prominent. Of Course, other type of watch faces in Apple Watches probably looks more colourful. Tastes wary!

Sonya B, 13 Jul 2024Actually there IS a reason, the watch looks more like class... moreIf someone likes a classic watch and admires the craftsmanship behind it, will never wear a smartwatch with round screen just to pretend is wearing a classic one or because it resembles one.Smartwatches serve different purposes and needs to be practical, round screens are not practical otherwise all our mobile phones should have round screens.

And BTW, I hated the look until I saw videos on arm and person using it. It looks sold and manly with polished bezel.
I guess you can only take the plain design round or square watch so far.
Those complaining of features, again this has the first ever 3nm Chipset in a watch, I wish it had a larger battery as my 5Pro has the same 590mAh with 3 days use from 100%.

It's a monstrosity, a Mashup of the Pro series watches and a bastard child with a half-Apple design arranged in a goofy square- circle pancake. Give us a thin, lightweight new Classic, please! (The 6 Classic is way too big and heavy next to the 5 Pro.(titanium) which should have been a Classic model!

Samsung forgot to copy the most important and practical thing from apple watch, the rectangular screen. Samsung managed to do the impossible, to put a useless round screen on a rectangular beefy and ugly smart watch.There is no reason at all smartwatches to have round screens as there are no mechanical components for the movement of hands to justify the this shape. Electronic watches had always rectangular screens to benefit the last inch of screen.

A chinese clone maybe 🤣🤣🤣 Even e cheap automatic Tissot is 1500 euro. And what have to do the automatic watch wich is a real pain in the a$$ with a smart watch ? There are total different products for total different customers.

Calm down clueless average Apple user. Samsung Ultra looks 1000× manly than Apple "sardines can" Ultra.
