i bought galaxy win 2 days ago. But when i connected it to the laptop it shows 1.31Gb only. Its internal memory is 8Gb. But 1.31Gb is available for use. Why is that?

The mobile phone really has 8GB internal storage though it is devided in to two. The 4GB is for the files or software pre-installed to the mobile device. Ex. you tube, drop box, etc. all the icons you can see in mobile device that you cannot delete are the apps that stored to the 4GB storage. while for the 4 GB left that is the storage you can use. so technically 8GB is the total storage but 4GB usable or available to use.

I using this phone last six month. No hang problem, heavy aps. Runnig no lags. Best phone forever
