ashu, 18 Aug 2013actually now i m also use of quattro but a very big problem... moreHello Ashu, make sure you configure your 2nd SIM to WCDMA mode for internet. Then you won't face this problem. If the 2nd SIM is in GSM mode then you would face this issue- while you are using internet in 2nd SIM then you may not receive call in first SIM. You can change the settings in Settings->mOre settings->mobile networks->Network mode. Select "WCDMA only" for your 2nd SIM in which you are using 3G internet.

I am having problem with Samsung Galaxy Quattro for the last few days , all my normal calls by default going to Skype instead of normal SIM calls. Can some one help me how to change the setup.

I had enabled only Screen Power saving. Later on I would try to do the tests again with CPU Power saving enabled and update it here after few days.

Below I am posting a detailed review of battery life of Galaxy Grand Quattro Dual SIM. I tested it by checking the battery discharge after running the tests for 15/30 mins/1 Hr.
As you know, Quattro can display battery % in top status bar(Settings-> Display->Select “Display Battery percentage on indicator”). This was very useful in finding the battery % quickly during these tests.
Following are the results:
1. Standby mode with both SIMs enabled, Wifi and Mobile data off: In 5 hours Battery discharges 3% (from 100% to 97%). So we can expect at least 33*5=160 Hours of Standby Time.
2. 3G Testing: Watching youtube video in standard quality using the youtube app (not HQ/HD) with screen brightness=50%: Battery discharges 8% (from 100% to 92%) in 30 mins, so we can expect max 100/8*30=375 mins or about 6 Hours of continuous you tube video playback using 3G.
3. Wifi testing: Youtube video playback (HD/HQ mode) with 50% screen brightness: battery discharges 4%(from 92% to 88%) in 15 mins – so we can expect max 100/4*15=375mins or about 6 Hours of continuous continuous you tube video playback using Wi fi
4. Local Video Playback from files stored in SD card(50% screen brightness): battery discharges about 6%(88% to 82%) in 30 mins- so we can expect 100/6*30=500 mins or about 8 hours local video playback
5. Local Music playback(screen off) from SD card: Battery discharges 8% (99% to 91%) in one hour – so we can expect about 12.5 hours of music playback.
In summary, with both SIMs switched on and assuming that battery discharge curve is linear(which is actually not true for Li-ion, it discharges a bit rapidly near the end of discharge curve), following would be the battery discharge time from 100% to 0%:
1. Standby time: 160 Hours or about 6 days. This seems to be really good.
2. Youtube video streaming in Standard quality through 3G (and 50% brightness): 6 hours
3. Youtube video streaming in HQ/HD through Wifi (and 50% brightness): 6 hours
4. Local Video Playback from files stored in SD card(50% screen brightness): 8 hours (so we can easily watch two full movies!)
5. Local Music playback(screen off) from SD card: 12.5 hours
Note that these calculations are real values based on real tests done on my 15 days old dual SIM Quattro and has no relation to the talk times/video playback time claimed by Samsung.
For a Quad core processor with 4.7 inch screen this seems to be a reasonably good battery life for an Android phone. In my normal usage with mobile data on and internet browsing for a few hours and with few calls/SMS , at the end of the day(around 9 PM) I see that about 40-50% battery is left if I had charged it to 100% in the morning.
This is just my first level of calculation based on just 30 mins/15 mins type of battery discharge check. In future, I would try to do more accurate checking using at least few hours of video playback using Wifi/3G/local video and update my review. Also I am yet to test the battery usage due to Camera and FM radio.

actually now i m also use of quattro but a very big problem in this BATTERY BACKUP is not after fully charged only use continued hours and other problem is if u'll use of internet on second connection than other sim is not work properly.

john, 17 Aug 2013plz guys tell me which better galaxy win or galaxy core ? thx similar specs, the Win has a bigger screen (4.8" to the Core's 4.3"), but lower ppi (199 to the Core's 217) also has a slightly bigger battery (2000 mAh to the Core's 1800). really depends on what you're looking for and the prices in your region
