Yo guys! This seems like a good phone but does it lag? it says its only 1.2GHz . Whats a GHz ?? i thought quad core is suppose to be fast!!! Anyway,shud i buy Acer s500 or grand quattro? Help plz!

I have used this grand quattro phone for the past 2 months, hell this phone is almost perfect, everything is so smooth and fast, maybe u will complain it cannot record video in HD but other than that it is a superb phone, the experience is very good, it doesnt have some extra features are found in s3 or original grand but those unuseful features will cause your phones lags due to ram insufficient and bugs. A dual sim cards phones are also is a big bonus these days, just go for it,grand quattro rocks!

Anonymous, 13 Aug 2013i have bought grand quattro a month before, it's battery li... moreit is a best phone,may be ur battery is faulty so please go samsung service center immediately bcoz my phn battery lasts upto 2 days in normal condition and in vast condition it last approx 1 day.

I had bought Quattro 1 week back . I doesnt heats on standby , when when playing games it gets heated too much near camera region (Processor Region ) . Can anyone please advice how can this be resolved.

himanshu1, 14 Aug 2013thanks for ur suggestion but if i take it to service center... morebro try this troubleshooter--
it won't delete any data from your device--
1. Turn off phone
2. Wait 5secs
3. Hold volume up button, home button, and power button until phone switches on
4. Leave power button now
5. When Screen comes up let go of all buttons
6. Use volume button to go down to wipe cache, use power button to select
7. Then press select reboot system
also try charging your phone with your laptop or use a different charger like a blackberry,kindle,htc..charger.(read a forum where people were having same problem with gs3 and they charge with different charger to fix this)...reply me..

himanshu1, 14 Aug 2013thanks for ur suggestion but if i take it to service center... morereplacement depends on many conditions....if your phone is less than a week old then there is max chance of replacement....now if its less than a month old then....they would tell you to repair bcoz ur issue not very serious issues....example-doa(dead on arrival) issues are quickly judged....and if its over a month sure repair...if your issue is irritating u too much go service centre...and if not plz don't go..bcoz handsets coming out of service centre will never be in same good condition..and from then on u will have some or the other trouble with ur phone..and rectifying time depends on their workload and parts available..one more thing service centre guys are very keen to open devices in parts..so ask them to 1stly replace battery,update software..etc...samsung care-18002668282...

Can you pls let us know the Build number, so that I can confirm whether you have the latest build?

AnonD-174983, 13 Aug 2013i have bought grand quattro a month before, it's battery li... moreHello Himanshu, for fixing the overheating and phone switching of issue, update your software to the latest version using online update through wifi/3G (Settings->About Device->software update->Update). You can refer to an earlier post of mine (in gasmarena) regarding this. (make sure battery is fully charged before you try out any software update). Regarding long charging time- that would happen if you are charging from Laptop/PC USB port. Also don't use any other charger- use only the charger provided by Samsung for Quattro since it's a high current charger. With that charger my Quattro gets fully charged in less than 2 hours and if I start charging when around 50% charge is left, it gets fully charge in just about one hour. If even software update doesn't work, you might have got a faulty unit- so you might have to check with service center.
