Anonymous, 26 Apr 2024They do not provide additional batteries, moreover, no one ... moreNonsense, they are readily available all over the place, part number EB-BG556GBY or GH43-05199A. You can also use the battery from the XCover Pro or XCover6 Pro, same batteries, just different labels/numbers.

Still waiting on the US release date for the XCover 7. Will it be sold by the major US carriers, or at least by Samsung US's website? I called Samsung but they claim to know nothing. Very frustrating.

Samsung just announced that Xcover 7 has now 7 OS updates and 7 years security updates, compared when Xcover was released, it was 4 and 5.

I confirmed that the Galaxy XCover7 does not have screen recorder or Bixby Vision, just like the Galaxy A15 5G.
I know that these are not features that consumers of this smartphone will use, but they are features that existed in the Galaxy XCover Pro (which did not have the two taps to activate the screen, which the XCover7 has).

We are all very satisfied with them. I left mine on the windowsill, the cat pushed it with its paw and the phone fell from the 8th floor. Not a single scratch!

I see it says it was released... moreDon't waste your money, Samsung rugged phones aren't rugged at all, nothing but problems, and despite ip68 rating it it's damaged by water the warranty won't be honored or if it's dropped and damaged even though they give a mil-spec rating, Buy from Sonim - Oukitel - Ulefone - Doogee - AGM etc...

Karel, 07 Mar 2024I love the form factor, but I can't get over the fact ... moreit's designed for industrial/commercial use where the employee (i.e. waiter/waitress, warehouse operatives, factory workers, nurses, train ticket inspector, etc.) are wearing gloves... that is why one of its unique features is to still able to use it even with two layers of gloves.

I love the form factor, but I can't get over the fact that they did not include the fingerprint sensor. I hope I can work around it, as I like the phone otherwise, but so far it is really annoying.

Galaxy XCover7 launched in Brazil for R$ 2499 (+/- US$ 500), but unfortunately only for B2B sales.

Why would yo... moreXCover series are not just for industrial/commercial use but for active/outdoor as well... in industrial/commercial settings, they won't even bother to buy extra batteries for their phones that are used to scan inventories in the warehouses or shelves... these phones have pogo pin charging that all they do is put the depleted one on the pogo pin charging docks and get another fully charged one and go on with their jobs...
in the outdoor/active settings like people going remote doing research or outdoor adventure, having a high capacity battery with an extra battery in the pocket would make the adventure or research go along way without worrying for depleted batteries.
