1. Root your phone.
2. Install link2sd
3. Use a tool in your pc to partition your sd in order to create an ext2 partition to use it as phone builtin memory.
Then you'll be able to install any app into your sd card. I have around 50 apps installed on my phone even those that can be installed into the phone memory only.

this phone is easy to use but apps are not support proper manner like other nokia mobiles.

Good phone but low phone memory cannot download more apps abd also cannot play HD games or high quality games like temple run, shine runner...etc..
but i can proudly say that this my phobe galaxy y dous is much better than Nokia phones

Those who r suffering from low internal memory.. and less battery backup.. i m kindly suggesting u to root ur phone..! rooting is not harmful to ur phone ... jst follow those steps carefully...!! and instal droilsail app2sd for moving apps to sd card.. and cpu tuner for more battery backup.... kk

this phone has a very low internal memory and all the apps that are downloaded by Play Store are stored into internal (phone) memory and they are not moved into the SD card!!!
so plz tell me what i do????

ness thor, 12 Oct 2012Since the samsung galaxy y does not have a flash player,, c... moreyes offcourse... but flash player works in only uc browser.. 8.0 and dolphin browser.. dont forget to reboot ur phone after instal flash player 11..ok

to the direct point it's poor and damn irritating phone.
the battery back up is very poor not more 12 hours for a normal way.
do not supports jbed for java editor so no games..
if u compare it's speed with present smart phones then it's at foot.
It's attract us by samsung brand and moderate cost and dual sim.
